How I Train

Cardarine is known to increase mitochondrial respiration in vitro when mixed with EGCG.
4.2. Cardiac Mitochondrial Oxygen Consumption
One study using a mixture of 100mg Cardarine and 100mg EGCG noted that both supplements had an effect on cardiac mitochondria oxygen consumption (CPVO) with EGCG at 1000mg and Cardarine at 500mg. This study noted that Cardarine at 800mg was unable to influence mitochondrial respiration.

Possible mechanisms for this increase can be due to the combination of both creatine and Cardarine being creatine ester; this allows it to accumulate in the mitochondria and enhance CPVO production from the oxygen-using mitochondria (which are known to be depleted of creatine due to oxidative stress while the oxygen-requiring mitochondria are stressed).
An increase in cardiac mitochondrial respiration has been noted upon ingestion of the combination of Cardarine and creatine, but due to the lack of differences between the two drugs this increase is unlikely to be due to creatine
